Note: Everyone planning on running for the day will be expected to show up on time, help set up, and help with tear down.
Cost per Participant: -$25* / -20 + 1 BEAC credit**
*Guest and non-member Boeing Employees can not apply BEAC Credits toward their payment. If you are a member or guest that will not be driving, no payment is required.
**BEAC Credits can only be applied toward the payment of a BEAC member, not a guest or non-member Boeing Employee.
Event Information:
· 8:00 am, Gates open (please quickly get you car ready and start helping with set up)
· 8:30 am, Setup / Car Tech Inspection
· 9:15 am, AM Driver’s Meeting
· 9:45 am, Driving Starts
· Noon – Lunch Break / PM Registration
· 1:00 pm, PM Driver’s Meeting
· 1:10 pm, Driving Starts
· 3:30 pm, End of Practice / Teardown
Please note that upon arrival in the AM there may be a car(s) on course. These are there to ensure that the course is set-up properly and safely. Please do NOT proceed to grid, instead please park off to the area on the west side, prep your car and help with any additional set-up needed. Additional things to help with should be posted on the rear of the van or else see Dennis Hannah.
This BEAC practice day is open to:
· All BEAC members
· Current Boeing employees
· Guest of BEAC members
Note: Per insurance restrictions, limit of 1 guest per member, no more than 1:2 ratio of total guest to attending membership. If you plan on having a guest(s) that will be autocrossing or attending a BEAC practice for the 1st time, please check in with the focals. Please plan on arriving ON TIME, if you plan to run in the AM. Arriving late will result in delays to the event. If you are late for AM Setup session, you may have to wait until the PM session to run.
The Boeing practice etiquette is as follows:
· If you plan to run in the AM, you must be there to help w/Setup.
· If you plan to run in the PM, you must help w/the Teardown.
· Setup and Teardown DOES NOT count towards a work assignment for the session.
· If you are unsure of what you should do, speak to the event focal or any of the experienced BEAC members.
· These events are made possible through the effort of everyone attending so everyone’s help is essential.
Since we will be on the Port of Shelton’s property the following rules apply:
o No Parking on the Grass!
o No Drugs
o No Alcohol
o No Firearms
o No Pets
o No Climbing or jumping over fences or barriers.
o The speed limit in all locations while not on course is 15mph.
o Obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws while on or near the area.
o Children are not allowed in the Grid Area.
